Gay or Straight, Don’t Take Abuse

Domestic violence happens. Here’s our advice.

male domestic violenceDomestic violence happens in every type of relationship whether you’re lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans or anything in-between, violence happens and you shouldn’t put up with it.

Statistics published by Women’s Aid suggest that 1 in 4 heterosexual relationships will experience domestic violence at some point. Statistics like these have prompted surveys being cast among the LGBT community looking into domestic violence within same sex relationships. The results from the survey showed that as many as 1 in 4 LGBT relationships will experience some form of violence, exactly the same as heterosexual statistics.
